As well as the tremendous help and time given freely by a band of volunteers Mister Gees Foundation has also enjoyed rather favourable "Mates Rates" from the following tradesmen and companies who have provided the much needed expertise and skills without which the re-fit could never have been finished to such a high standard.

Richard Hewes, from Hewes Security made the extremely generous offer to supply and install a complete security system, including cameras, monitors and recording equipment, as well as a state-of-the-art burglar alarm at no cost to the foundation.
"Baz", a meticulous tradesman from Eco City Electrical, who has supplied all of the equipment at cost and charged a reduced rate for his labour in order to ensure that the shop electrics are up to the very latest standard.
Chris and Dave at Square-Edge Solutions beavered away in order that we might get the shop open as soon as possible. They installed all of the wall finishes together with the clothes racking and shelving. They also laid the flooring, built the rear wall including the changing room and even arranged the fitting of the false ceiling. All of these works were undertaken without any charge to the foundation. I am more than grateful to them both.
Pocknells LLP, the accountants in Hullbridge road have kindly agreed to audit the Foundation's books on a Pro Bono basis. This is yet another example of local businesses getting behind the Foundation Shop and its work here in South Woodham Ferrers.
Insight Systems based in Kent and operating from regional offices in the South East is one of the leading suppliers of photocopying solutions for Kent, London, and Essex as well as throughout the Home Counties. They have kindly given the foundation an all singing all dancing Toshiba multi-function photocopier, scanner and printer to replace our existing printer that would only function when the lunar cycle was favourable.
Ahead4 have been in South Woodham Ferrers for well over a decade now. It has grown steadily by offering many different IT services including on and off-site PC repairs, home & business networking, PC component sales, Mobile & Tablet Repairs, and more recently VOIP services. They even sorted out my internet cock-up at their own expense.
Visiting the shop in Hullbridge Road is like entering an Aladdin's Cave, headed up by Hector Macpherson, one of lives great "Marmite Characters", but you'll soon learn to love his straight talking and helpful advice. Greenrecycling
Once again I find myself saying thank you to a local company for help and support given to the foundation shop. This time it is to Robert Marston from greenrecycling based in Maldon.
After over six months of what can only be described as pretty shoddy service from the company that collected any unsalable books from the charity shop it took only one e-mail to Robert and a new service has been established.
We look forward to working with greenrecycling in the knowledge that they operate a zero landfill policy and ask you to consider them if you have need for either a regular trade or industrial total waste management service or just a one off skip hire.

Essex Domestic Gas Services
The list of companies that have offered their services and expertise to the foundation free of charge continues to grow. In readiness for the shop re-opening David Clacy of Essex Domestic Gas Services, a South Woodham Ferrers based Gas Safe registered heating and plumbing company has just finished installing an additional over-sink water heater for extra hand washing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
